Saab and Embraer Unveil First Gripen E Fighter Produced in Brazil
The first Saab Gripen E fighter jet manufactured in Brazil has been officially unveiled at the Embraer facility in Gavião Peixoto. This event marks a significant milestone in the technology transfer program between Sweden's Saab and Brazil's defense industry. The production is a key part of the Brazilian Air Force's (FAB) acquisition of 36 Gripen aircraft. As part of the program, Brazilian engineers and technicians have been trained to build and maintain the advanced fighter. This achievement strengthens Brazil's domestic aerospace capabilities and its long-term strategic partnership with Saab.
