Ryanair Bolsters Fleet with Order for 10 Additional Boeing 737 MAX 10 Jets
Ryanair has placed a firm order for an additional 10 Boeing 737 MAX 10 aircraft, increasing its total firm commitment for the model to 160 jets. This latest purchase is valued at over $1.4 billion at list prices, though significant discounts are common for major airlines. The order is part of a larger framework agreement for up to 300 MAX 10 aircraft that was announced last year. These new planes, slated for delivery between 2027 and 2030, will replace older, less efficient 737-800 models. The MAX 10 offers increased capacity with 228 seats and provides a 20% improvement in fuel efficiency.
