Ryanair Boeing 737 Rejects Takeoff at Stansted After Dual Tire Burst
A Ryanair Boeing 737-800 aborted its takeoff from London Stansted Airport during a flight destined for Copenhagen. The crew initiated the rejected takeoff procedure after both tires on the left main landing gear burst. There were 182 passengers and crew members on board at the time of the incident. The aircraft safely vacated the runway, and no injuries were reported. The aircraft sustained damage as a result of the tire failure.
