Regent Resumes Trial Operations for All-Electric Seaglider
Regent has resumed sea trials for its all-electric seaglider prototype in Narragansett Bay, Rhode Island. This new phase of testing follows a planned pause for system upgrades and a review of data from earlier operations. The current trials will focus on validating the vehicle's wing-in-ground-effect flight controls and performance characteristics. These tests represent a crucial milestone for the company as it advances toward certification of its 12-passenger Viceroy model. Regent is working closely with maritime and aviation authorities to finalize the regulatory pathway for this new category of vehicle.
