RAF Red Arrows Receive Formal Clearance for 2024 Display Season
The Royal Air Force's Red Arrows aerobatic team has been given formal clearance to perform for the 2024 season. The Public Display Authority (PDA) was granted following a final assessment at their base at RAF Waddington. This approval comes after a challenging period for the squadron, which was subject to an inquiry in 2022 that found a 'toxic' culture. RAF officials state that significant work has been done to address these issues. The team will be flying with eight aircraft instead of the usual nine for their 60th anniversary season.
