Qatar Civil Aviation Authority Sets March 31 Deadline for National UTM System Tender

The Qatar Civil Aviation Authority (QCAA) has issued a public tender for the procurement of a comprehensive Unmanned Aircraft System Traffic Management (UTM) system. Interested parties are required to submit their proposals by the deadline of March 31. The initiative aims to establish a centralized platform to safely manage and integrate the growing volume of drone operations within Qatar's national airspace. The system is expected to provide essential services such as drone registration, flight planning, real-time tracking, and deconfliction. This move represents a significant step by Qatar to develop the regulatory and technological infrastructure for advanced unmanned aviation.
