A significant change in the new schedule, launching February 2025, is the elimination of the westbound call at the port of Algeciras. This adjustment is aimed at improving schedule reliability and shortening transit times for customers. The move is expected to redirect substantial transhipment volumes to other Mediterranean hubs, potentially Tangier Med.
