Precision Aviation Services Appointed as Authorised Installer for Stableflight System
New Zealand-based Precision Aviation Services (PAS) has been officially named an authorised installer for the Stableflight autopilot system. Developed by SAFRAN Helicopter Engines, Stableflight is a modern stability augmentation system designed to enhance safety for light and medium single-engine helicopters. The system aims to significantly reduce pilot workload and improve flight stability. This appointment makes PAS the first certified installer in the Asia-Pacific region, expanding SAFRAN's support network. The company's first installation of the system will be on an AS350 helicopter at its Ardmore Airport facility.
