Pilot Survives After Small Plane Crashes in Northeast Philadelphia Industrial Park

A single-engine Piper PA-28 aircraft crashed in an industrial park shortly after departing from Northeast Philadelphia Airport. The pilot was the only person on board and sustained non-life-threatening injuries. The plane went down in a wooded area within the industrial park in Bensalem. The flight was reportedly en route to Trenton-Robbinsville Airport in New Jersey. The Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board are investigating the cause of the crash.
