A pilot was rescued without injury after his single-engine plane crashed into the Atlantic Ocean on Tuesday morning. The incident occurred approximately half a mile off the coast of Boca Raton, Florida. The pilot, who was the sole occupant, reported engine trouble after departing from Fort Myers en route to Pompano Beach.
