Pilot Missing, Student Rescued After Flight School Plane Crashes Off Vero Beach Coast

A Piper PA-44 Seminole aircraft crashed into the Atlantic Ocean off the coast of Vero Beach, Florida, on Thursday evening. The plane, which belonged to FlightSafety Academy, was carrying a pilot and a student. A nearby boater rescued the student from the water, who was then hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
