Pilot Killed in Oregon Plane Crash Was Indicted on Felony Charges Hours Before Incident
A pilot was killed when his single-engine Lancair 320 crashed near the Bend Municipal Airport shortly after takeoff. The pilot was identified as 45-year-old Mathew Lee Whitworth, the sole occupant of the aircraft.
