Pilot Identified in Fatal Wesley Chapel Plane Crash
A pilot has been identified as the sole fatality in a single-engine plane crash that occurred in a Wesley Chapel, Florida, neighborhood. Darrin Vano, 53, was killed when his Beechcraft Bonanza went down on Friday afternoon shortly after taking off from Zephyrhills Municipal Airport. The aircraft reportedly struck trees before crashing near a residential intersection. Fortunately, no injuries were reported on the ground. The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) are leading the investigation into the cause of the incident.
