Pilot Identified in Fatal Tulare County Crop Duster Crash

Authorities have identified the pilot killed in a crop duster crash in Tulare County as 74-year-old Roger D. Biery of Visalia. The incident occurred Friday morning when the single-engine aircraft went down in an orchard near Woodlake. The Tulare County Sheriff's Office confirmed Biery was the only person on board. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) are investigating the cause of the crash.
