Pilot Hospitalized After Small Plane Crashes Near North Perry Airport
A small plane crashed in Pembroke Pines on Friday afternoon, shortly after taking off from North Perry Airport. The aircraft came down in the yard of a home near the airport. Pembroke Pines Fire Rescue crews responded to the scene and found one person on board the plane. The sole occupant was transported to a local hospital as a trauma alert. Both the Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board have been notified and will investigate the crash.
