Pilot Hospitalized After Small Plane Crashes into Parked Car in Pacoima
A single-engine Mooney M20 aircraft crashed in a parking lot shortly after taking off from Whiteman Airport in Pacoima. The incident occurred Friday morning, with the plane striking at least one unoccupied, parked vehicle upon impact. The pilot, who was the sole person on board, was extricated from the wreckage by emergency crews. They were then transported to a local hospital for treatment. The Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board are expected to investigate the cause of the crash.
