Pilot Dies in Acro Sport II Biplane Crash Near Willard, Utah
A pilot was killed in the crash of a single-engine aircraft near Willard, Utah. The victim was identified as David Goode, who was the sole occupant of the plane. The accident occurred on Wednesday evening shortly after the Acro Sport II G-2 biplane took off from Ogden-Hinckley Airport. According to the Box Elder County Sheriff’s Office, the aircraft went down in a field. The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) is investigating the cause of the fatal crash.
