Penzance Helicopters Launches Year-Round Service to Isles of Scilly
Penzance Helicopters has launched a new, year-round service connecting Penzance with the Isles of Scilly. The flights will operate six days a week to the islands of Tresco and St Mary's. Utilizing an AW139 helicopter, the service is designed to be a resilient, all-weather travel option. This new link aims to complement the existing Skybus fixed-wing aircraft and the Scillonian III ferry service. The launch marks the return of a helicopter connection to the islands after the previous one ceased operations in 2012.
