Passengers Sue Singapore Airlines Over Fatal Turbulence on Flight SQ321
A group of passengers is suing Singapore Airlines following a severe turbulence incident on flight SQ321 that resulted in one death and numerous injuries. The lawsuit, filed by a US law firm, alleges the airline was negligent by not warning passengers to fasten their seatbelts despite being aware of adverse weather conditions. The flight from London to Singapore encountered extreme turbulence over Myanmar, forcing an emergency landing in Bangkok. Singapore Airlines has previously offered compensation to passengers, including $10,000 for minor injuries and full ticket refunds. This legal action seeks further damages for the physical and psychological harm suffered by those onboard.
