Palm Beach International Airport Renamed to Highlight General Aviation Role
Palm Beach International Airport (PBI) has officially changed its name to “Palm Beach International Airport – The General Aviation Capital of the Americas.” The new designation became effective on October 24. This change aims to recognize and promote the airport's significant role as a hub for business and general aviation. While the airport's IATA and ICAO identifiers, PBI and KPBI, will remain the same, the name change requires action from operators. Aviation stakeholders are advised to update their official documents, databases, and flight planning software to reflect the new name and ensure full compliance.
