Orlando International Airport Board Approves Construction of eVTOL Vertiport Facility
The Greater Orlando Aviation Authority (GOAA) Board has officially approved the construction of an electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) facility at Orlando International Airport (MCO). This approval is part of the airport's recently updated Capital Improvement Plan. The new infrastructure, referred to as a "Vertistop," is designed to serve as a dedicated take-off and landing pad for advanced air mobility aircraft.
