Orlando International Airport Announces America's First-Ever Offsite TSA Screening Service
Orlando International Airport (MCO) is launching a groundbreaking pilot program, the first of its kind in the United States. This new service allows passengers to check in their luggage and have it screened by the TSA at a remote location before they enter the main terminal. The 'Early Bag Drop' facility will be located in the airport's Parking Garage C. This initiative, which uses AI-powered baggage matching technology, aims to significantly reduce congestion within the terminal. If successful, this off-airport screening model could be adopted by other major hubs across the country to improve passenger flow and experience.
