One Killed, One Injured After Skydiving Plane Crashes in Northeastern France
A small skydiving plane has crashed in northeastern France, resulting in the death of one person. The incident occurred on Monday near the city of Strasbourg, shortly after the Pilatus PC-6 aircraft took off. The deceased was a parachutist who was on board the plane. The pilot survived the crash but sustained injuries. France's air accident investigation bureau, the BEA, has confirmed the crash and announced it is opening a safety investigation. The cause of the crash is not yet known.
