One Fatality, Multiple Injuries After Severe Turbulence on Singapore Airlines Boeing 787
A Singapore Airlines Boeing 787-9, operating as flight SQ321 from London to Singapore, encountered severe turbulence over Myanmar. The incident resulted in the death of one passenger and injuries to numerous others. The flight crew declared an emergency and diverted the aircraft to Bangkok, Thailand. The aircraft landed safely at Suvarnabhumi Airport, where medical teams were on standby to assist the injured. The deceased passenger was a 73-year-old British national.
