One Dead in Single-Engine Plane Crash at Westerly Airport
A fatal crash involving a single-engine aircraft occurred at Westerly State Airport on Wednesday evening. The pilot, who was the sole occupant of the Cirrus SR22, was pronounced dead at the scene. The incident happened at the end of Runway 14 as the plane was reportedly attempting to land.
