NTSB Report Details Engine Failure in Tim Sheehy's 2015 Emergency Landing
A National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) report has shed new light on a 2015 incident involving a single-engine aircraft piloted by Tim Sheehy. The report confirms Sheehy executed an emergency landing near Fort Harrison, Montana, after experiencing a total loss of engine power. During the flight, Sheehy attempted to restart the engine but was unsuccessful. He then safely landed the aircraft in a field without injury. The investigation concluded that the cause of the total loss of engine power could not be determined.
