The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) has released its preliminary report concerning the fatal crash of a World War II-era aircraft at the Vicksburg-Tallulah Regional Airport. The incident, which occurred on May 18, resulted in the death of the pilot. According to the report, witnesses observed the North American T-6 Texan aircraft struggle to gain altitude immediately after takeoff. The plane then entered a left-turning descent before crashing into a wooded area.
