NTSB Investigating Fatal North Dakota Crash That Killed State Lawmaker and Pilot
The National Transportation Safety Board has launched an investigation into a fatal plane crash in western North Dakota. The single-engine Piper PA-24 Comanche went down shortly after takeoff from Sloulin Field International Airport in Williston. Two individuals were killed in the accident. The victims have been identified as the pilot and Fargo-area state Rep. Mike Donat. An NTSB team is on site to determine the cause of the crash, with a preliminary report expected within weeks.
