North Dakota State Lawmaker and Pilot Killed in Small Plane Crash Near Minneapolis
A single-engine plane crashed near an airport in Blaine, a suburb of Minneapolis, resulting in the deaths of both people on board. The victims have been identified as North Dakota State Representative Mike Donahue and pilot Richard Anderson. They were reportedly returning to North Dakota following a trip to Ohio. The aircraft went down shortly after takeoff from Anoka County-Blaine Airport. Federal investigators from the NTSB and FAA have been dispatched to the scene to determine the cause of the fatal crash.
