Cornwall Airport Newquay has launched a new direct route to Dublin, operated by Aer Lingus Regional. The service is anticipated to significantly enhance tourism and business connectivity for the region. In conjunction with the launch, the airport's managing director defended its long-standing £5 Airport Development Fee for departing passengers. She emphasized that the fee is essential for the airport's financial sustainability and its capacity to attract and secure vital new routes.
