New Rotorcraft Leasing Firm, Helicopter & Jet Management, Begins Operations

A new rotorcraft leasing company, Helicopter & Jet Management (HJM), has officially launched its operations. The firm is a joint venture between established aviation lessors LCI and Sumitomo Mitsui Finance and Leasing Company (SMFL). HJM begins with an initial portfolio of 19 modern helicopters valued at over $230 million. These assets are deployed globally on critical missions including emergency medical services, search and rescue, and offshore wind support. The fleet includes models from Leonardo and Airbus, with the joint venture aiming to significantly grow its portfolio.
