NASA Reschedules Artemis II Rollout for March 19 Following Test Anomaly
NASA has pushed back the planned rollout of its Artemis II Space Launch System rocket and Orion spacecraft to no earlier than March 19. The two-day delay from the original March 17 target is necessary to address a technical issue with the mobile launcher. During testing, a fan motor circuit breaker tripped on one of two fans that create positive pressure within the launcher's enclosed areas. This system is crucial for preventing hazardous gases from entering the structure. Teams are currently troubleshooting the issue to ensure all systems are performing as expected before proceeding with the move to Launch Pad 39B for a final pre-launch rehearsal.
