NASA Reschedules Artemis II Hardware Rollout for March 19
NASA has pushed back the rollout of the mobile launcher for its Artemis II mission to no earlier than March 19. The structure was originally scheduled to move from the Vehicle Assembly Building to Launch Pad 39B in late February. This delay provides technicians at Kennedy Space Center with additional time to complete crucial testing on the crew access arm and other launch umbilicals. These tests are essential to verify that the support hardware will retract correctly during the launch sequence. The successful rollout is a critical milestone ahead of stacking the Space Launch System rocket for the first crewed lunar mission in over 50 years.
