Mountain Home Air Force Base Lifts Lockdown After F-15 Crash; Pilot Safe
A contractor-operated Singaporean Air Force F-15SG crashed near Mountain Home Air Force Base in Idaho. The pilot ejected safely from the aircraft and was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. As a precautionary measure, the base was temporarily placed on lockdown following the incident. Officials have since lifted the lockdown and confirmed the crash did not involve any U.S. Air Force aircraft. An investigation into the cause of the crash is now underway.
