MHI RJ unveils ADS-B In retrofit solution for CRJ Series fleet
MHI RJ Aviation Group (MHIRJ) has announced a new ADS-B In retrofit solution for its CRJ Series aircraft. Developed at its Bedford, Massachusetts service center, the system is called Predictive and Recommended OperationS (PROS). This upgrade integrates with ForeFlight's mobile flight deck application and its ADS-B network. The solution allows pilots to use ForeFlight's "Jet-Fueler" feature for real-time flight path optimization, aiming to reduce fuel consumption and operational costs. This aftermarket technology brings modern efficiency tools to the large, in-service fleet of CRJ regional jets.
