Metro Aviation Highlights Significant Growth, New Aircraft Programs, and Future Technology Initiatives
Metro Aviation has announced a period of substantial growth, having added 15 new operations customers in the last year. The company is also expanding its physical footprint with a new 62,000-square-foot facility in Shreveport, Louisiana. At Heli-Expo 2024, Metro showcased its latest aircraft completions, including advanced systems for the Bell 429, Airbus H135, and H145. A key focus was on safety innovation, particularly the first civilian-certified Bell 429 equipped with an integrated helicopter terrain awareness and warning system (HTAWS). Looking forward, the company is investing in next-generation flight data monitoring and exploring opportunities in the advanced air mobility (AAM) sector.
