Massachusetts Governor Urges Signature Aviation to Cease Support for ICE Deportation Flights
Massachusetts Governor Maura Healey has publicly called on Signature Aviation, a major fixed-base operator, to stop providing ground services for U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) deportation flights. In a formal letter to the company's CEO, the governor cited serious humanitarian concerns over the flights operating out of Hanscom Field. This request follows ongoing pressure from activists and local officials who have protested Signature's involvement in these operations. Governor Healey argued that the company's participation is misaligned with the state's values. She urged Signature to refuse fueling, servicing, or otherwise supporting any aircraft associated with ICE Air Operations.
