Malaysia Airlines Welcomes First Airbus A330-900neo as Fleet Renewal Begins

Malaysia Airlines has officially taken delivery of its first Airbus A330-900neo, marking a significant step in its fleet modernization program. The aircraft, registered as 9M-MVA, arrived at Kuala Lumpur International Airport from the Airbus delivery center in Toulouse, France. This is the first of 20 A330neos the carrier will receive, with this specific plane being on a long-term lease from Avolon. The new, more fuel-efficient aircraft are set to replace the airline's older A330-200 and A330-300 fleets. The cabin features Collins Aerospace Elevation Business Class seats, which include individual privacy doors for the first time on the airline's A330s.
