Lufthansa to Launch Denver's First Airbus A380 Service in 2026
Lufthansa has announced plans to operate the Airbus A380 on its route between Munich and Denver International Airport, starting in the summer of 2026. This will mark the first-ever scheduled passenger service by the superjumbo to the Mile High City. The A380 is expected to replace the Airbus A340-600 currently flying the route, significantly boosting passenger capacity. Denver's airport has been making necessary infrastructure upgrades, including a specific gate on Concourse A, to accommodate the giant aircraft. This route upgrade is part of broader network adjustments by the German carrier, which also include flight cuts on other routes.
