Lorenza Maggio Appointed New CEO of Brussels Airlines
The Lufthansa Group has named Lorenza Maggio as the new Chief Executive Officer of Brussels Airlines, effective July 1, 2024. Maggio currently serves as the Head of Ground & Customer Services for the Lufthansa Group. She will also take on the responsibilities of the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) for the Belgian carrier. Maggio succeeds Dorothea von Boxberg, who is moving to become the CEO of Lufthansa Cargo. This appointment marks a significant leadership transition within the Lufthansa Group's portfolio of airlines.
