Lone Star Flight Museum Announces 2026 Texas Aviation Hall of Fame Inductees
The Lone Star Flight Museum has officially named the four individuals for its 2026 Texas Aviation Hall of Fame class. The distinguished list of honorees includes Major General Jeannie M. Leavitt, the U.S. Air Force’s first female fighter pilot, and George W.S. Abbey, former director of the Johnson Space Center. Also being inducted are Azellia White, a trailblazing pilot who helped establish a flying club for African Americans in Texas, and Colonel Edward A. Logan Jr. The formal induction ceremony will take place at a special gala on May 2, 2026. This event celebrates Texans who have made outstanding contributions to aviation.
