Loganair Takes Over Vital Shetland Inter-Island Air Service
Scottish airline Loganair is launching a new lifeline air service for Shetland's outer isles, starting this Friday. The five-year contract ensures vital connectivity for Fair Isle, Foula, and Skerries from Tingwall Airport. Loganair takes over the routes from the previous operator, Airtask, using two nine-seater Britten-Norman Islander aircraft. This operation is crucial for transporting residents, mail, and essential supplies to the remote communities.
