Loganair Pilots Launch 24-Hour Strike Over Roster Dispute
Pilots at Scottish regional airline Loganair are set to conduct a 24-hour strike over a dispute regarding their work schedules. Organized by the Balpa union, the industrial action is scheduled for Thursday, June 6th. The core of the disagreement centers on the pilots' request for a fixed work pattern of five days on, three days off. This marks the first-ever pilot strike in the airline's 62-year history. Despite the walkout, Loganair has stated its intention to operate a full schedule by utilizing a team of relief pilots to minimize passenger disruption.
