Leeds Bradford Airport Begins £11m Terminal Upgrade Project
Work has started on an £11 million project to upgrade the terminal at Leeds Bradford Airport. This development is the first phase of a larger £100 million investment plan to modernize the facility. The initial construction will focus on expanding the departure lounge, enhancing the security hall, and adding new retail and dining spaces. This regeneration will add approximately 9,500 square feet to the existing building. The project aims to significantly improve the passenger experience, with this phase expected to be completed by winter 2024.
