LATAM Highlights Key Sustainability Advances in 2023 Report
LATAM Group has released its 2023 Sustainability Report, showcasing significant progress in its environmental and social initiatives. The cargo division achieved a 33% reduction in emissions per tonne-kilometre compared to 2019. A major milestone was the transportation of over 245,000 tonnes of cargo on flights using Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF). The group also advanced its circular economy goals, eliminating 75% of single-use plastics as it works toward zero waste to landfill by 2027. These efforts underscore LATAM's commitment to strengthening its sustainability leadership in the region.
