Korean Air Introduces Free In-Flight Wi-Fi with SpaceX's Starlink Service

Korean Air has launched a new in-flight Wi-Fi service using SpaceX's Starlink satellite technology. The service debuted on a single Boeing 737-8 aircraft, initially offering free connectivity for messaging applications. This initiative is part of a trial phase, after which the airline will introduce paid plans for higher-speed internet access suitable for web browsing and streaming. Korean Air plans to gradually expand the Starlink service across its wider fleet following the pilot program. This move positions the airline among a growing number of global carriers adopting Starlink to significantly enhance the passenger connectivity experience.
