Korean Air Announces End of A380 Service on Key US and European Routes
Korean Air is set to phase out its Airbus A380 fleet by 2026, marking a significant change in its long-haul strategy. The airline will cease operating the superjumbo on several key international routes. Among the affected destinations are New York (JFK), Los Angeles (LAX), and Paris (CDG) from its hub in Incheon. This move is part of a broader industry trend focusing on increased efficiency. The four-engine A380s will be replaced by newer, more fuel-efficient twin-engine aircraft such as the Boeing 787 and Airbus A350.
