Knight-Swift Executive Chairman Kevin Knight Announces Retirement
Knight-Swift Transportation has announced that Executive Chairman Kevin Knight will retire at the end of the year. Knight co-founded Knight Transportation in 1990 with his cousins and served as CEO until the company's merger with Swift Transportation in 2017. Following the merger, he assumed the role of executive chairman. The board of directors praised his visionary leadership in building the company into one of the largest and most successful truckload carriers in North America.
