Knight-Swift Co-Founder and Executive Chairman Kevin Knight Announces Retirement
Kevin Knight, the co-founder of Knight Transportation and executive chairman of Knight-Swift, has announced he will retire. A key figure in the North American trucking industry, Mr. Knight helped establish the company in 1990. He transitioned to the role of executive chairman following the landmark merger with Swift Transportation in 2017. The company lauded his visionary leadership over more than three decades. CEO David Jackson will assume the additional role of chairman of the board upon Knight's retirement.
