KLM Hosts Inaugural 'Girls in Aviation Day' to Inspire Future Female Professionals
KLM Royal Dutch Airlines organized its first 'Girls in Aviation Day' at Schiphol-East, aiming to inspire young women to pursue careers in the aviation sector. The event welcomed approximately 50 girls, aged 15 to 18, offering them a unique behind-the-scenes look at the industry. Participants interacted with female pilots, engineers, and other technical professionals from KLM. The program included a tour of a Boeing 787 Dreamliner and hands-on activities designed to showcase technical and operational roles. This initiative is part of KLM's broader commitment to increasing gender diversity within its workforce.
